During a two-month internship with Namahn, Brussels, I worked on developing an application for bike tours. The project was a collaboration between Tourisme Limburg, Telindus, and Namahn.

The application ran on a PDA attached to the bike handlebars. The user could interact with the application through the touch screen. The main screen of the application provided navigation support (using the GPS technology). Since the application was designed to run on pre-defined bike tours, the directions were fixed, and there was no search function.

When the biker would pass by an interesting tourist site, audio and video information would also be available on the main screen. The application also gave access to information such as speed, distance until the end of the tour, and battery life.
